Banking & Finance Solicitor – Cardiff – Hybrid

Overview

In this role you will support a Cardiff-based banking and finance team advising lenders and borrowers across sectors. You will work on a range of transactions, from acquisition and leveraged finance to property finance, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues. You will draft loan and security documents and manage precedents from approval to completion, including post-completion steps. The position offers a supportive, diverse environment with a focus on business development and client relationship management. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your finance-law experience within a well-regarded firm and contribute to ongoing client service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Advising lenders and borrowers on banking and finance matters
• Drafting loan agreements, security documentation, and managing conditions precedent
• Supporting transactions from initial approval through completion and post-completion
• Assisting with client relationship management and business development initiatives

Key requirements

• Newly qualified solicitor up to 3 years’ PQE
• Strong commercial awareness
