Management Consulting Manager – Insurance

Overview

As a Management Consulting Manager in Accenture’s UK Insurance Practice, you will shape and lead large transformational engagements for insurers, leveraging Gen AI and other cutting-edge tech. You’ll build senior client relationships, guide cross-disciplinary teams, and deliver tangible change across underwriting, claims, and operations. This role combines strategy, delivery, and thought leadership to drive innovative outcomes for clients and the firm. You will work closely with leadership to shape offerings and grow the practice.

Responsibilities

• Define insurance industry solutions and offerings to address client challenges
• Lead key stakeholder engagements and credible subject-matter leadership
• Build and lead diverse delivery teams across Accenture functions
• Mentor and develop members of the Insurance practice
• Grow existing accounts and create new opportunities to become the solutions partner of choice
• Deliver large, complex transformation projects across insurance clients
• Provide expert thought leadership and translate expertise into client-ready outcomes

Key requirements

• 10+ years in change or operations consulting, 5+ years in insurance
• Hands-on business change and/or business architecture experience
• Ability to lead analysis and design of strategic business solutions
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven track record with clients and stakeholders
• Innovative thinker with strong ability to articulate ideas visually
• Good understanding of IT fundamentals and FS systems
• Willingness to travel within the UK and globally
• Particular subject matter expertise in insurance areas (e.g., underwriting, claims, digital/AI)
