The Role
The role is predominantly hands on, contributing to day to day problem solving, guiding both the technical architecture and the engineers responsible for the delivery or customer facing applications.
This means having ownership of the design and development of systems that intelligently look after the businesses new customers based on their unique profile and needs. This means building scalable, adaptive systems that integrate real-time data and business logic.
This is light weight people leadership, big product and technical ownership.
The Requirements
- Experienced and still hands on when it comes to software engineering – Python, TypeScript, GO or Similar.
- Experience building live customer facing products
- You’re deeply product and customer oriented – you’re curious about user behavior and data
- Ability to manage, mentor and grow a small group of talented engineers, and improve engineering standards across the wider organisation.
- Experience designing and building scalable, adaptive systems that integrate real-time data
