We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter / Joiner to join a well-established and growing business.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across both commercial and residential properties, carrying out installations, replacements and repairs.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and is confident attending sites independently to carry out surveys and installations.
—————————————————————Key Responsibilities:
- Install and replace windows, doors, gates, stairs and frames.
- Travel to sites across the UK.
- Carry out glass and frame replacements.
- Fit, repair and replace fire doors where required.
- Attend customer sites independently to carry out surveys, measurements and assessments.
- Work across both commercial and residential properties.
- Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard.
- Identify issues on site and provide practical solutions.
- Maintain a professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers.
——————————————————————–What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience fitting windows, doors, gates or stairs.
- Experience replacing glass and/or frames.
- Fire door installation experience is highly desirable.
- Confident carrying out site surveys and taking accurate measurements independently.
- Good understanding of fitting techniques and installation standards.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- A focused, motivated and reliable individual.
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
