Enterprise Architect – Asset Management

Overview

In this Enterprise Architect role, you translate strategic priorities into a practical technology direction within a global asset manager. You’ll own target-state architecture, capability maps, and roadmaps, ensuring cross-program alignment with business and investment leadership. You will shape enterprise principles, standards, and guardrails, and connect architecture with delivery to resolve blockers. AI adoption and vendor assessment are key priorities as you influence senior stakeholders to drive transformational change.

Responsibilities

• own business capability maps, target-state architecture and enterprise technology roadmap
• drive adoption of architecture across the change portfolio to align programs with a strategic destination
• define enterprise architecture principles, standards and guardrails and embed them into delivery
• translate enterprise strategy into practical guidance and maintain alignment between direction and delivery
• shape platform strategy with senior stakeholders and turn competing requirements into clear technology decisions
• lead technology assessments and vendor RFPs from a business architecture perspective
• identify architecture gaps, dependencies and blockers and drive resolution before delivery issues arise
• advise on AI adoption across the architecture function and identify opportunities to transform system design and evolution

Key requirements

• significant experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture or senior transformation roles
• proven track record of turning strategy into deliverable roadmaps
• experience in Asset Management or comparable financial services with knowledge of the sector’s vendor and technology landscape
• strong grounding in business architecture including capability modelling and target operating models
• credible influencing and facilitation skills with senior stakeholders and leadership, driving outcomes through influence
