Site Reliability Engineer

Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)
On site: 1 day per week in Central London

I’m looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with a software engineering background to help improve the reliability, scalability, and security of my client’scloud platform.

This role will focus heavily on GitHub Actions, ArgoCDand modern deployment practices, working closely with both Platform and Product Engineering teams to ensure applications are deployed and operated safely at scale.

Key Requirements

• Strong software development background (Node.js, TypeScript, or similar).
  




• Hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
  




• Strong ArgoCD and GitOps experience.
  




• Kubernetes and AWS expertise.
  




• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  




• Understanding of cloud security, distributed systems, and production operations.

• Improve deployment reliability and developer experience.
  




• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  




• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities.
  




• Automate operational processes and reduce toil.
  




• Drive best practices for operating resilient, secure production systems.
