Digital Information Management Lead

Overview

In this role you will drive digital information management for A+D in the UK&I, applying cutting-edge digital technology to enable delivery across markets. You will align with the digital strategy and support design teams to achieve technical excellence in BIM deployment while guiding standardised processes and data across delivery lifecycles. You’ll lead by example on SH&E and ethics, ensuring compliant, high-quality client solutions on time and within budget. This opportunity lets you shape the digital backbone of major infrastructure and building projects at scale.

Responsibilities

• Participate in digital strategy activities aligned to growth areas and report progress/ROI
• Support A+D teams on projects to ensure technical excellence and BIM delivery
• Champion digital solutions with design leads to meet client needs on time and within budget
• Oversee standardisation of processes, products, and data across project lifecycles
• Enable environments for generative design, automated data analysis and information delivery assurance
• Manage Autodesk Forma project administration and information exchange
• Prepare and maintain AECOM documents/guidance aligned with ISO19650
• Improve quality/efficiency by integrating digital tools and methods
• Track progress with metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Promote SH&E compliance and ethics policies across the unit
• Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to optimise resource use and tool selection
• Lead by example to foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing team

Key requirements

• Recognised professional body membership in core markets (desirable)
• Master’s or Engineering Degree in a related field
• Proven experience leading diverse teams and large projects
• Track record in growing client relationships
• Experience with lean manufacturing/industrialisation knowledge across sectors (desirable)
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards
• BIM certification with a recognised body (advantage)
• Experience with Common Data Environment setup (e.g., Autodesk Forma)
• Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit)
• Strong digital tool/solution selection and project delivery experience
