Software Developer
Telford/ hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
£400 per day inside ir35
6 month contract
We’re looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a major UK Government programme, supporting a business‑critical application within a complex enterprise environment.
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining software, delivering enhancements, resolving production issues, and supporting the stability of a key live service while working closely with engineering and delivery teams.
Key Skills
- Strong software development background
- VB6 / Visual Studio 6.0
- VBA & ActiveX Components
- XML & SOAP Toolkits
- Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Experience supporting enterprise or production‑critical applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Desirable
- GovRules Client
- GovRules IDE
- GovRules Native Language
