This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. We are currently looking for a Dispensing Assistant, Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) or Accuracy Checking Dispenser (ACD) dedicated to excellent patient care to join our team at Pleasley Pharmacy.
The package: Full time position Pension Scheme Hourly Rate up to £14.00 / hour 20 Days Annual Leave, plus government and public holidays
The Opportunity
This is a fast-paced environment in which you will be a core member of the pharmacy and healthcare team, therefore, the ideal candidate will have experience within a busy community pharmacy environment with high volume dispensing and be willing to learn and exhibit excellent team-working skills. What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Accuracy checking dispensed medicines
- Helping the team with the smooth running of the dispensary
- Dispensing medication effectively and safely
- Managing stock levels and minimising losses
- Assist with counter sales
- Working with the pharmacist to deliver services and achieve company targets
- Dealing with queries from patients and GP surgeries
Experience you’ll need to have:
It is essential that you have completed your Dispenser, ACT or ACD qualification.
