Revenue Senior Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will be a core contributor to Finastra’s revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate IFRS 15 treatment for customer contracts and maintaining revenue schedules in the ERP. You will support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with reconciliations and audit-ready documentation. You’ll collaborate across teams and external resources to maintain strong controls and process improvements. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented position within a global finance team that shapes revenue reporting for a leading financial services software provider.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain customer revenue contracts in the ERP, ensuring IFRS 15-aligned revenue schedules
• Prepare revenue contract and account reconciliations (revenue, accrued income, deferred income) and resolve differences
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close with journals, schedules, and analysis
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and respond to external auditors during audits
• Apply IFRS 15 guidance in practice and escalate complex matters
• Contribute to process improvements and lead specific task-oriented initiatives
• Collaborate with outsourced contractors and third-party resources to ensure consistency and quality
• Maintain well-organized records supporting a strong control environment

Key requirements

• Qualified experience in corporate accounting, ideally revenue accounting
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition and IFRS 15
• Hands-on experience in operational accounting and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and well-documented work
• Experience supporting external audits and auditor inquiries
• Proactive, organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent designation nice to have or progressing towards
• Experience using Oracle NetSuite ERP nice to have
• Experience using Blackline for reconciliations nice to have
