to join a busy transport operation on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will become a key member of the transport team, helping to ensure deliveries, collections, drivers and vehicles are managed efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.Working within the logistics industry, this role offers long-term stability, competitive pay and genuine opportunities for permanent employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a
Transport Co-ordinator , your responsibilities will include:Coordinating daily transport operationsPlanning driver routes and vehicle allocationsMonitoring vehicle movements and delivery performanceLiaising with drivers throughout their shiftsCommunicating with customers regarding deliveries and collectionsResponding to transport and operational queriesUpdating transport management systems accuratelyManaging and resolving operational issuesMaintaining transport records and documentationWorking closely with warehouse and operations teamsSupporting the smooth running of the transport officeEnsuring service levels and operational targets are achieved
