I’m partnering with a growing business in Chester that is looking to appoint a Part-Time Financial Controller to support the next stage of its growth journey.
Description
- Lead and oversee the finance function.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting and financial planning.
- Produce insightful management information and performance reporting.
- Support the leadership team with strategic decision-making.
- Develop budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans.
- Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to drive profitability and growth.
- Ensure robust financial controls and processes are in place.
- Liaise with external accountants and advisors.
- Support key business projects, including preparations for future growth initiatives.
- Act as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the organisation.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous experience within a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Able to operate both strategically and hands-on when required.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
