Overview
In this strategic role, you will serve as the casualty SME, providing portfolio insights to underwriters and shaping pricing perspectives across the book. You will analyze the portfolio holistically, not just case pricing, to support risk selection and forecasting. The role includes people leadership responsibilities and requires strong collaboration with underwriters, primarily within the Lloyd’s/London Market. You will work on high-impact issues that influence portfolio performance and market-facing decisions. This opportunity offers a chance to influence underwriting strategies in a collaborative, office-based setting (4 days/week).
Responsibilities
- Provide portfolio-level insights to underwriters for decision making
- Act as casualty SME on pricing and portfolio management
- Collaborate with underwriters and cross-functional teams to inform strategy
- Lead and manage team responsibilities within the pricing/actuarial function
- Engage in stakeholder relationships and rapport-building with Lloyd’s/London Market players
- Support strategic initiatives and holistic portfolio reviews
Key requirements
- Lloyd’s/London Market experience
- Ability to build rapport with underwriters
