Civil Engineer – Infrastructure

Overview

As an Engineer in Ramboll’s Civil Engineering / Infrastructure team, you contribute to sustainable civil and infrastructure design from concept to delivery. You will integrate civil design with other disciplines, support client engagements, and uphold health, safety and quality best practices. You’ll help win bids and advance Ramboll’s mission of sustainable change while developing toward ICE Chartership. This is a collaborative role in a foundation-owned, globally active company that values development and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to civil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (SuDS, surface & foul drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways)
• Integrate civil design with other disciplines for coordinated, constructible outcomes
• Represent Ramboll to clients and stakeholders
• Support health, safety and quality practices across the team (including CDM)
• Contribute to business development: build relationships, gather market intelligence and bids
• Champion Ramboll’s Global Strategy: Partner for Sustainable Change
• Take ownership of career development towards ICE Chartership

Key requirements

• Technical background in civil engineering: SuDS, drainage and earthworks design with up-to-date standards
• Experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages
• Interest in sustainable infrastructure solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce technical reports
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Actively working toward CEng or IEng
• Interest in learning new skills and progressing career
