HGV Class 1 Driver / LGV CE Driver / Class 1 HGV Driver required for temporary driving work with established transport and logistics businesses across Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for regular temporary work, competitive hourly pay and opportunities with established transport operators.
Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with road traffic regulations and company procedures.
Complete deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
Complete delivery paperwork, proof of delivery documents and any relevant vehicle records.
Maintain communication with transport planners, customers and the relevant depot.
Follow drivers’ hours regulations and working time requirements.
Maintain high standards of vehicle care, professionalism and customer service.
Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV CE driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid digital tachograph card.
Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
Good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and road safety requirements.
Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow delivery instructions.
Ability to complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
Based within a commutable distance of Southampton, Hampshire.
HGV Class 1 Driver / LGV CE Driver Benefits £18–£20 per hour, depending on the assignment and experience.
Overtime paid at £24 per hour.
