What you ll be doing
As a trusted partner to operational leaders, you ll provide commercial and financial insight that helps drive informed decision-making across the business.You ll:
- Build strong, credible relationships with stakeholders across your business areas
- Provide commercial and financial challenge, support and guidance to leaders
- Translate financial and non-financial data into meaningful insight
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Support business cases and investment decisions
- Help identify opportunities, manage financial risks and improve performance
- Develop financial understanding and capability across operational teams
- Provide robust reporting, analysis and forecasting to support strategic and operational objectives
- Champion continuous improvement and new ways of working across finance and the wider business
About you
We re looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with outstanding relationship-building skills.You ll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and presenting financial information in a way that is clear, engaging and easy to understand for non-finance audiences.
You ll also bring:
- A professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a Finance Business Partnering role
- Proven success partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomesStrong budgeting, forecasting, management accounting and business planning experience
- The ability to challenge constructively and provide commercial insight
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong financial systems and data analysis capability, including advanced Excel skills
- A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach
