Legal Officer – Housing & Litigation (Temp Role)

Newcastle City Council is seeking an experienced Legal Officer to join the Housing & Litigation Team in Legal Services on a temporary fixed-term basis. The role focuses on housing, regulatory matters, disrepair, anti-social behaviour, prosecutions, licensing, Selective Licensing and debt recovery.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent drafting skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a personal caseload against tight deadlines.
