Location: Glasgow – Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
A market-leading and well-established learning and technology business is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join its growing commercial team in Glasgow.
This is a great opportunity for somebody with 12+ months’ B2B sales experience who wants to step into a full-cycle sales role, take ownership of their own pipeline and have a clear route to progress their career.
You’ll be selling a range of digital learning and e-learning solutions to businesses, working with key decision-makers to understand their requirements and identify the right solution.

The role
- Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to close
- Build your own pipeline through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking and referrals
- Speak with key stakeholders and decision-makers to understand their learning and development needs
- Develop existing customer relationships through upselling and cross-selling
- Take ownership of your territory, pipeline and results
Ideal profile
We’re open on sector background, but you’ll need:
- Experience in a BDE, BDR, telesales, recruitment, lead generation or similar sales role
- A competitive, resilient and target-driven mindset
- The ambition to progress beyond lead generation and develop into a full-cycle salesperson
- A genuine hunger to succeed, earn commission and progress your career
