Combine character animation and Unreal Engine implementation to build responsive melee combat.

Location: Europe — remote / West Midlands, United KingdomContract and work arrangement: Full-time, permanent. Remote within Europe or West Midlands-based. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Refine animation and implement state machines, blend spaces, montages and animation Blueprints.
• Develop movement and combat transitions, diagnose issues and optimize and document systems.

What the studio is looking for

• Seven years at senior level in technical animation, or equivalent independent ownership of complex work.
• Melee-combat experience and practical Unreal skills, including motion matching, warping, IK and Control Rig.
• Blender or Maya proficiency and clear communication across a distributed team.
