Technology Manager – Business Application Support

We’re partnering with an established, independent investment management firm to appoint a Technology Manager to lead its Business Application Support function.

The Role
- Lead and develop the Business Application Support team, driving performance, accountability and operational excellence.
- Oversee business-critical investment management applications, including BlackRock Aladdin.
- Drive a shift from reactive, break-fix support towards proactive service management and continuous improvement.
- Lead incident and problem management, improving resilience, controls and operational processes.
- Manage key technology suppliers and build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
- Support technology change, service transitions and the ongoing evolution of the function.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading Application Support or Technology Operations within regulated financial services.
- BlackRock Aladdin experience is essential.
- Strong incident, problem and service management experience across business-critical platforms.
- A track record of improving operational performance, processes and team capability.
- Confident stakeholder management, with the ability to influence, challenge and communicate effectively.
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style, with the resilience and accountability to manage critical incidents.
Experience within investment or asset management would be advantageous, although wider financial services backgrounds will be considered.
Salary and Benefits
