Job Description:

Territory Account Manager – South West & South Wales

Field Sales & Account Management

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established market leader in workplace food and beverage solutions as a Territory Account Manager covering the South West and South Wales.

We’re looking for a polished, articulate and commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing existing customers and identifying new business opportunities.

You’ll inherit an established portfolio of approximately 80 accounts, with a healthy balance of account management (70%) and new business development (30%).

With typical order values of £20,000–£30,000, this is a consultative sales role requiring strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to engage with senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop approximately 80 existing customer accounts across the territory.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through account growth, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Generate new business opportunities and win new customers within the region.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Deliver professional customer presentations and commercially compelling proposals.
  • Manage your territory effectively, maintaining a healthy pipeline and delivering against sales targets.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales, account management or territory sales.
  • A polished, articulate and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling ability.
  • A proactive, commercially minded individual who can balance existing account development with new business acquisition.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a large geographical territory.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • A self-motivated individual who enjoys being in front of customers.

Territory & Working Pattern

  • Territory: From Swindon westwards, across South Wales and south to Southampton.
  • Bristol office: 1 day per week.
  • Customer-facing field sales: 3 days per week.
  • Remaining time dedicated to planning, administration and pipeline management.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established territory with an existing customer base, meaningful deal values and considerable scope to develop new business.

You’ll be joining a recognised organisation with an established market presence and the opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact.
