Pay Rates

About the Role
Working within the retail distribution industry, the successful
Class 1 Day Tramper Driver
will complete regional store deliveries, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule while maintaining excellent professional standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Completing between 1 and 3 deliveries per shiftDelivering goods to retail stores across a designated regionUnloading cages at delivery locationsCarrying out handball duties where requiredUsing electronic POD devices to record deliveries accuratelyCompleting all paperwork and delivery documentationConducting daily vehicle safety inspectionsEnsuring compliance with drivers’ hours and working time regulationsProviding a professional and reliable service at all delivery points
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday working patternTuesday to Saturday shifts availableAdditional Saturday shifts available when requiredTypical start times between 02:00 and 14:00Flexible start time options availableShift durations typically between 10 and 12 hoursOngoing long-term work

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving LicenceValid Driver CPC Qualification CardValid Digital Tachograph CardStrong understanding of drivers’ hours legislationAbility to complete electronic PODs and delivery paperwork accuratelyComfortable with manual handling and cage deliveriesProfessional and reliable approach to workGood communication skills
