Job Overview
We are recruiting for Hygiene Operatives to work weekend day or night shifts at a food production site in Bridlington (YO15). The factory operates in a non-meat, non-fish environment.This is a long-term opportunity for dependable candidates who are committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in a food production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of production equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces
- Following strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols
- Using industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely
- Completing hygiene records and checklists accurately
- Working efficiently to ensure cleaning tasks are completed on time
- Reporting any issues or hazards to supervisors immediately
- Supporting the wider team to ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hygiene or industrial cleaning is desirable but not essential – full training is provided
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Days or Nights not rotating
- Physically fit – role involves manual handling and standing for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Awareness of food safety or BRC standards is an advantage
