Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm,Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm. Paid till 4pm.
JRL Modular are looking for Modular Assembly Operatives to join our team. You will be assembling apartments, bathrooms and utility cupboards to supply to our onsite projects.
Experience with soldering copper pipework or lagging pipes is highly desirable, though full training will be provided for the right people.
This is a Permanent PAYE position based at our JRL Modular factory in Newark. Due to continued growth we are seeking new recruits to join our team. To us, enthusiasm, reliability and commitment far outweigh previous experience.
DUTIES
- Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms and utility cupboards
- Working on pipework including soldering copper and applying insulation/lagging where applicable
- Ensure all Company procedures are followed
- Undertake any training as required, and assist in training other team members where you are proficient
- Keep work areas tidy and maintain high standards of housekeeping
- Work safely and take responsibility for the Health & Safety of yourself and colleagues
- Any other duties as required by factory supervisors
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Previous assembly or basic construction experience is preferred but not essential
- Experience with power tools preferred but not essential
- Experience soldering copper pipework or lagging pipes — highly desirable
- Flexible team player with a can-do attitude
- Ability to follow processes and work to targets — Health & Safety, Quality and Productivity
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
