Broster Buchanan are working exclusively with a market-leading organisation to appoint a technically strong Financial Controller. They’re seeking an ambitious finance leader to help drive its next phase of development.

It’s a broad and significant role, combining hands-on financial control responsibilities with transformation, integration, and strategic project work. You will play a key role in supporting continued growth while leading a large and diverse finance function.

• Significant exposure to Board-level stakeholders

• Broad remit spanning operational, technical and strategic finance

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and development of a large, multi-disciplinary finance team
• Ownership of financial and statutory reporting
• Group consolidations and technical accounting matters
• Cash flow management and treasury oversight
• Supporting acquisitions, integrations and M&A activity
• Driving finance transformation and continuous process improvement
• Leading ERP implementation and optimisation projects
• Managing key external relationships including auditors, banks and tax advisors
• Providing financial insight and strategic support to the Board

We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with:

• Strong technical accounting expertise
• Exposure to complex, multi-entity environments
• A track record of driving change and business improvement
• Experience of systems implementation and finance transformation projects
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
• Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills
