Postdoc: Quantum Technology & Ion-Photon Networking

University of Sussex invites applications for a 12-month full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Experimental Quantum Technology based in Falmer. The role focuses on trapped ions and photon interfaces, testing multi-zone ion traps and developing ion-photon entanglement schemes.

Applicants should hold a PhD in experimental quantum information, laser- or atomic physics, with experience in complex optical systems (diode lasers, UHV, control electronics).
