Salary: Up to £135,000 | Location: London (3 days a week in the office, the rest from home)

About the role

Our client is a leading UK management consultancy. They are hiring a Director-level consultant to grow and lead their Retail & Consumer Products business. Working closely with the London portfolio leader, you will help shape and deliver the strategy for the business unit as it expands.

What you’ll do

• Combine business development and solution delivery (change and project management) across the Retail & Consumer Goods sector, developing solutions that deliver long-term success for clients.
• Identify and sell solutions that add real value, drawing on a broad range of capabilities including strategy, technology, people and change, experience design, data and analytics, and programme management.
• Build client and team relationships that drive results and growth.
• Establish yourself as a sector thought leader through networking, speaking and writing.
• Work with prestigious clients, mainly in the London area, with some travel.

What you’ll need

• Senior-level experience in management consulting, advisory or professional services (Big 4 background welcome), ideally within Retail & Consumer Goods.
• A track record of leading large, complex engagements and building relationships with senior executives.
• Proven success growing client accounts, developing proposals and selling business solutions.
• Experience building high-performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build credibility and consensus.
• A bachelor’s degree (a master’s or professional certifications are a bonus).
• The right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
