Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential care provider in Kent seeking an experienced Interim Registered Manager to provide strong leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational stability within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, Turnaround Manager, or high-calibre Deputy Manager who can quickly embed themselves within a service, support staff, strengthen compliance, and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the children’s home.
• Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Promote outstanding safeguarding practice throughout the service.
• Support, motivate, and develop the staff team.
• Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections.
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and placement outcomes.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, and rota management.
• Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and partner agencies.
• Drive a culture focused on achieving positive outcomes for young people.

About You

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home.
• Alternatively, an experienced Deputy Manager with substantial leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Proven experience achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
• Experience supporting children with EBD, complex behaviours, trauma, or challenging needs.
• Excellent safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
