Gas Engineer
to join their reactive maintenance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer seeking consistent core hours, a varied workload, and strong earning potential through enhanced overtime rates.
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for carrying out
reactive service, repair, and installation work
across domestic properties. The role requires strong diagnostic ability, a high standard of workmanship, and a customer-focused approach.You will be expected to respond to call-outs efficiently, identify faults accurately, and complete repairs or installations in line with Gas Safe regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Attend reactive service and repair jobs in a timely mannerDiagnose faults on boilers, heating systems, and gas appliancesCarry out repairs and ensure systems are operating safely and efficientlyInstall gas appliances and heating systems where requiredComplete servicing and safety checks in line with regulationsEnsure full compliance with current
Gas Safe standardsComplete all job reports, certification, and paperwork accuratelyDeliver excellent customer service on every jobMaintain company vehicle, stock, and equipmentParticipate in an out-of-hours rota if requiredRequirements
Valid
Gas Safe RegistrationACS qualifications (CCN1 plus relevant elements such as CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1)Proven experience in reactive gas servicing, repairs, and installationsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsFull UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyProfessional and customer-focused approachDesirable Experience
Social housing, domestic maintenance, or facilities management backgroundG3 Unvented Hot Water qualificationExperience with modern heating systems and smart controlsBenefits
