Senior Recruitment Consultant
Location: Leicester city centre, office based. Full-time, permanent. Pay: £30,000 to £36,000 basic salary, plus uncapped commission.
Social Care Recruitment is the go-to recruitment agency nationally for the children’s residential sector. We’ve grown 68% year on year for four consecutive years and we’re not slowing down. We’re now expanding into new sectors, and you’ll play a part in making that happen. We promote from within, and the people leading our growth started where you’d be starting.
This is a full 360 desk. You’ll run it independently, winning clients and placing candidates, and help the Recruitment Consultants around you to get better.
What you’ll be doing
- Run a full 360 desk from start to finish: find and win clients, source and place candidates, and manage both through the placement.
- Build long-term relationships with children’s residential homes and keep them coming back.
- Coach Recruitment Consultants on calls, candidate management and client work.
- Meet your margin and activity targets, and keep your records and compliance in order.
- Work with the senior consultants and managers on your desk, and tell them what you’re hearing from the market.
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years in agency recruitment, ideally 360, with a record of hitting targets.
- You can run your own desk without being chased, and you enjoy helping others improve.
- Competitive, commercially minded and motivated by results.
What’s on offer
- £30,000 to £36,000 basic salary, with where you sit in the band based on your experience and performance.
- Uncapped commission.
- A clear route to Principal Consultant and into management.
