Data Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 + bonus & benefits

Join a leading technology consultancy, working alongside experienced engineers, architects and data scientists to build data pipelines and platforms supporting National Security customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and improving pipelines to extract, transform and load data.
• Developing data solutions using SQL and Python.
• Working with cloud services to store, process and serve data.
• Applying software engineering and DataOps practices to build reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to understand how data will be used.

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
• Practical SQL and Python skills, or experience with a comparable programming language.
• Experience building data pipelines and working with ETL processes.
• An understanding of data modelling and cloud technologies.
• Curiosity, a collaborative approach and enthusiasm to develop your skills.
