Hedge Fund Operations Analyst – Multi Asset

We are delighted to be partnered with a Global Macro Hedge Fund who are looking to add several hires to their operations team due to their continued growth. The business has been driving headcount, fund launches and operating complex strategies due to recent successes.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced operations professional with a strong technology background to join our London Operations team. The role combines core operational responsibilities with a clear mandate to drive automation, improve workflows and get the most out of our existing technology platforms, including Enfusion and AI tooling.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of experience in operations, middle office or a related technical role at a hedge fund or prop trading firm
• Strong Python skills, with a track record of building tools or automation used in a production operational environment
• Good working knowledge of SQL and handling data from multiple sources
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and P&L drivers across multiple asset classes
• Ability to diagnose instrument, pricing and data issues in a PMS/OMS
• Pragmatic approach to automation: knowing what to build, what to buy and what to leave manual
• Strong communication skills, and comfort working directly with PMs and external vendors

Responsibilities

• Supporting weekly P&L reconciliation and investigating breaks across futures, equities, bonds, FX forwards, FX options, IRS, CDS, listed options and TRS
• Working closely with front office to debug instrument setup, static data and price feed issues
• Partnering with Enfusion to propose and implement workflow improvements, making full use of the platform’s capabilities
• Identifying automation opportunities across Operations using Python and AI/LLM-based tools, and building and maintaining those solutions
• Automating existing manual processes for other members of the team, with appropriate documentation and controls
• Monitoring the Operations inbox and handling or escalating important queries
• Contributing to broader operational projects, including risk, treasury and finance processes
