Benefits Assessor: Local Government Claims & Compliance

Cannock Chase Council and Stafford Borough Council are seeking a Benefits Assessor to join the shared Benefits Service. You will assess Housing Benefit and Local Council Tax Reduction claims and support customers face to face, by phone or email.

Based primarily in Cannock, the role may require occasional travel to sites across the Cannock Chase and Stafford Borough areas. You will review changes in circumstances, consider Discretionary Housing Payments, and work to deadlines with accuracy.
