Custody DDO – 12h Shifts (London)

The Metropolitan Police Service is seeking Designated Detention Officers (DDOs) across London. The role involves welfare checks, meals, showers, calls, exercise and other detainee support tasks, with dedicated powers exercised under a legal framework in custody suites.

You will join a 12-hour shift pattern on four teams, with training through a seven-week foundation course and ongoing professional development.
