Children’s Social Worker – our client (GM Collaboration)

Are you a dedicated Children’s Social Worker looking for an exciting contract opportunity? We are recruiting a full-time Children’s Social Worker for our client Children In Our Care team. This role offers a fantastic chance to work within a well-regarded local authority, graded ‘good’ in its latest Ofsted inspection. If you have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience and are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Children’s Social Worker – Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining a caseload of children in care with professionalism and empathy




• Conducting assessments, planning, and review meetings for children and their families




• Developing and implementing care plans that meet individual needs




• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, agencies, and families to ensure the best outcomes for children




• Working flexibly across office-based and home settings, with at least 3 days per week in the office




• Keeping accurate and up-to-date records using Liquid Logic Children’s system (desirable)




• Demonstrating excellent communication skills and team-working abilities

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in children’s services




• A valid SWE registration




• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  
• Experience of working within a children in care team




• Strong communication and organizational skills




• Ability to work independently and as part of a team




• Flexibility to work across different environments, including some home working
