Assistant Data Analyst – Office based role – Norwich, Norfolk
We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedAssistant Data Analystto join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their career in data analytics within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
About the Role
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the business. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable data.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop reports and dashboards using tools such asExcel,Power BI, orTableau
- Write and optimizeSQLqueries to extract and manipulate data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights
What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency inExceland a foundational understanding ofSQL
- Familiarity withdata visualizationtools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business, or similar) is advantageous
