Maths Support Role Location: Greenwich Contract: October 2026
May 2027 (Term-Time Only) Interviews: ASAP Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain experience in education? A well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a Maths Academic Mentor to support students across the mathematics department. As a Maths Academic Mentor, you’ll work with pupils in KS3 to KS4, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. You’ll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in Mathematics. Key responsibilities: Providing in-class support in Mathematics lessons Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds This role is ideal for aspiring Maths teachers or those interested in supporting students in Mathematics.
