is seeking a proactive UCAS Application Coordinator to support students in achieving their academic potential and progressing into higher education. This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate university applications, develop external partnerships and deliver a strong programme of careers education and enrichment.
About the UCAS Application Coordinator role:Coordinate Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) across Key Stages 3 and 4Manage UCAS applications, references, deadlines and university offersBuild relationships with universities, employers and apprenticeship providersTrack Sixth Form progress and coordinate targeted student interventionsOrganise university visits, masterclasses, summer schools, internships and work placementsIdentify scholarships, bursaries and funding opportunitiesCoordinate Year 12 and Year 13 enrichment programmes, trips and residentialsSupport Sixth Form admissions, enrolment and GCSE and A Level results periodsContribute to student wellbeing, attendance, academic progress and the wider Sixth Form provisionWe are looking for someone who:Holds a good Honours degreeHas GCSEs in English and Maths at grades A*–C, or equivalentHas experience working in a secondary school environmentHas excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, email and internet useDemonstrates highly developed organisational skills and can work effectively to deadlinesHas a working knowledge of higher education and the UCAS application processCommunicates effectively and builds positive relationships with students, families, staff and external partnersIs proactive, detail-focused and committed to raising student aspirationsThis is an excellent opportunity to join an Outstanding school and make a meaningful contribution to students’ future pathways and progression.
