Special Educational Needs Coordinator

LINQ Education are supporting a SEN School in Wolverhampton who are looking for a SENCO to join their team on a contract basis. The school supports up to 40 children with Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the provision for children with special educational needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement effective strategies.
• Monitor and assess the progress of children with SEN.
• Engage with parents and external agencies to support children’s needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) qualification.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a SEN school.
• Knowledge of Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.
