Lead Enterprise Architect – Investment Management – Re-platforming

A leading London-based asset manager is hiring a permanent Enterprise Architect to lead the architecture of a full front-to-back technology re-platforming, including the OMS.

The programme is at the ideation stage. Core decisions, including whether to adopt third-party platforms or build in-house, are still open, so you’ll be involved early enough to shape them.

The role combines business and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Define the target-state architecture across front, middle and back office
• Lead the architecture input into the build-versus-buy decision and vendor selection
• Provide architectural leadership through programme delivery
• Set architecture strategy and work with senior stakeholders across the business
• Help mature the architecture function

What you’ll bring:

• Experience architecting and delivering a front-to-back re-platforming on the buy side
• Strong experience with Aladdin, Charles River or SimCorp
• A broad understanding of the asset management technology landscape, including proprietary and in-house environments
• The ability to bridge business and technology at senior level
• Ideally, experience of vendor selection and build-versus-buy decisions
