Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented German Speaking Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Your expertise in financial management, combined with fluency in German, will enable effective communication of complex financial information across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets in both English and German to support business objectives.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Utilise Zoho, DATEV Accounting Software, and Excel to record, reconcile, and monitor financial transactions.
- Oversee financial accounting activities, including ledger management, month-end closing, and compliance with local regulations.
- Support financial management initiatives by providing insights on cost control, profitability analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Fluency in German and English is essential for effective communication within the team and with international stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including accounts payable, financial accounting, and regulatory compliance.
- Accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential if relevant experience is demonstrated.
- Experience working with various accounting platforms and integrating them into daily operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
