Interim Finance Manager

This position sits within the Financial Control team and will be responsible for delivering a number of key finance projects, supporting process improvement initiatives and providing flexible support across the wider finance function during peak workloads.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Review month end processes sat within commercial finance with the aim to streamline and move into financial reporting team
• Automation and enhancement of balance sheet reporting
• Review, documentation and optimisation of key finance processes and controls
• Supporting the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and review activities.

The Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2/3 years’ post-qualified experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial control knowledge.
• Background in external audit with subsequent industry experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data analysis and reporting automation.
• Ideally SAP S/4HANA experience
• Proactive, pragmatic and solution-focused approach
