You will be part of a growing software business that develops innovative technology solutions to help organisations improve their operations, streamline processes and deliver better customer outcomes. The company is focused on providing modern, scalable software that enables customers to work more efficiently and realise long-term value from their technology investments. As a Senior Implementation Manager, you will lead multiple customer implementations, managing the full project lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through to system configuration, data migration, integrations, testing and go-live. You will build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, coordinate internal specialist teams and proactively manage project risks, timelines and dependencies. You will also be responsible for monitoring project performance and commercial outcomes, ensuring implementations are delivered efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Alongside managing your own portfolio, you will support and mentor other implementation professionals, share best practice and contribute to the development of scalable implementation processes and methodologies.
The Person
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience delivering SaaS implementations, customer onboarding programmes or comparable technology projects.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder implementations from discovery through to successful go-live.
- Strong project management skills, including managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks and dependencies.
- Experience managing multiple customer-facing projects simultaneously and working autonomously.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and the end-to-end software implementation lifecycle.
- Ability to translate customer business processes and requirements into effective system solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness, including project costs, resource utilisation, revenue and customer outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing escalations and resolving complex project delivery challenges.
- Experience coordinating technical teams across data migration, integrations, configuration, testing and customer training.
Desirable Experience
- Experience implementing complex or enterprise-level SaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of process documentation, workflow mapping and change management.
- Experience using AI tools and AI-driven workflows to streamline onboarding and improve project delivery.
- Experience delivering virtual and in-person customer training.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, project management platforms and SaaS onboarding tools.
- Technical understanding of API integrations and complex software configurations.
- Experience mentoring colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
