We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of service users in local communities. As part of our care at home teams in the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership Localities, you will support service users to maximise their independence and remain living in their own homes.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and enthusiastic care and support to service users in their homes.
- Attend service user homes across the wider Fife area.
- Build effective working relationships with service users, their families, and other Council services and partner agencies.
- Support the effective planning and delivery of care within the Council’s service.
- Apply Health and Social Care Standards in practice.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Caring, compassionate, and motivated with good values.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work with other Council services and partner agencies.
- Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Standards.
- Hold or be able to work towards SVQ Level 2 qualification within required time frames.
- Register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of employment and complete Post Registration Training and Learning (PRTL) during the registration period.
- Obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland before confirming appointment.

Working Pattern & Location
Contract Type: Permanent. Working Pattern: 4 days on 4 days off (35 hours per week 07:30 – 13:00, 17:00 – 21:30, 16:00 – 22:00, and 07:00 – 13:00). Relief positions also available. Location: Cowdenbeath.
