TheRole
AsaRoughSleepersSupportWorker,youwill:
- Providepracticalandemotionalsupporttoindividualsexperiencingroughsleepingandhomelessness.
- Buildtrusting,professionalrelationshipswithserviceusersandworkinastrengths-based,person-centredway.
- Carryoutassessmentsanddevelopindividualsupportplanswithserviceusers.
- Supportindividualstoaccessandsustainsuitableaccommodation.
- Workwithexternalagenciesandpartnerorganisationstoaccessservicesincludinghealth,benefits,substancemisuseandmentalhealthsupport.
- Advocateonbehalfofserviceusersandhelpremovebarrierstoaccessingsupport.
- Maintainaccuratecaserecordsandensureallrelevantinformationisrecordedappropriately.
- Managesafeguardingconcernsandrespondappropriatelytorisksandincidents.
- Encourageserviceuserstodevelopindependentlivingskillsandworktowardslonger-termstability.
- Workcollaborativelywithcolleaguesandpartneragenciestoachievepositiveoutcomes.
