TRANSPORT PLANNER – DY6

Location: DY6Salary: Up to £40,000 per annumEmployment: Full-time, PermanentWorking pattern: 1 Saturday in 3

We’re looking for an experienced and organised Transport Planner to join our team in the DY6 area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in transport planning, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and coordinate transport operations efficiently.

The role will involve:

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations
• Managing vehicle and driver schedules
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently
• Monitoring routes and making adjustments where required
• Communicating with drivers, customers and internal teams
• Dealing with operational issues and finding effective solutions
• Maintaining accurate transport records and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in transport planning or logistics
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicating with drivers and customers
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A strong problem solver
• Comfortable using transport planning systems and IT
• Reliable and commercially aware
