About the RoleWe’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Class 2 HGV Driver to join the Logistics Team at Nelsons for Cartons, part of the Macfarlane Packaging Group. This isn’t traditional multi-drop: most journeys involve just one or a small number of customers, delivering palletised goods mainly across the Midlands and occasionally further afield. Earlier starts may occasionally be required.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering palletised goods safely, on time and to a high standardLoading your vehicle and making sure every load is secured correctlyCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defectsProviding excellent customer service on deliverySupporting the warehouse team and safe warehouse operationsFollowing all Health & Safety procedures and company requirementsWhat You’ll Need
A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 1 year’s driving experienceA current Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph CardA clean driving recordRegional or general delivery experience, with a focus on safe driving and load securityA reliable, team-focused and customer-friendly attitudeWhat We Offer
