Black Fox Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse for an opportunity in Holywood, Co. Down. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care that promotes residents’ health, dignity and independence.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and care plans.
- Assess residents’ health, monitor vital signs and identify any changes that may require medical attention.
- Support residents with their daily care needs, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility and toileting.
- Monitor nutritional intake and hydration, providing assistance and support where required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure residents’ care records remain up to date.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, multidisciplinary professionals, residents and their families to support continuity of care.
- Promote a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for all residents.
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of clinical practice.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid NMC registration and active UK PIN.
- At least one year’s nursing experience; experience in a nursing home or elderly care setting would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while using initiative when working independently.
- A sound understanding of nursing procedures, medication management and clinical documentation.
- A genuine commitment to maintaining residents’ dignity, safety and overall well-being.
