SELF-EMPLOYED VAN DRIVERS WANTED – KENT
Depot: AylesfordDelivery Area: Kent – around the coast between Herne Bay and Folkestone
We are recruiting Self-Employed Van Drivers on behalf of our client to deliver parcels across Kent.
Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, there are opportunities available 7 days a week.
COMPETITIVE DAILY RATES
STANDARD ROUTE
- 9-hour working day
- £175 per day
- Fuel paid at approximately £0.20 per business mile
LARGE ROUTE
- 9-hour working day
- £194 per day
- Fuel paid at approximately £0.20 per business mile
Weekly Team Performance Bonus Scheme also available.
OWN VAN OR VAN HIRE
Having your own van is beneficial, but it’s not essential.
Van hire is available for eligible drivers, with hire rates discussed upon application.
Owner Drivers:Drivers using their own van must provide a valid Carriage of Goods for Hire and Reward insurance policy before starting work.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENT
All drivers must have Public Liability Insurance cover of £5,000,000 in place before they start.
3 DAYS PAID TRAINING
All successful drivers will receive 3 days of paid training:
1x Classroom Training – Online from Home£137.70 paid
2x On-the-Road TrainingTraining alongside one of our experienced drivers£139.50 per day paid
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
You must:
- Be 18 years old or over
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold a full UK or EU driving licence
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence
- Be able to drive manual or automatic vehicles
- Have £5 million Public Liability Insurance before starting
- Be reliable, professional and committed to providing excellent customer service
Van Hire Requirements:To hire a van from us, you must be 21 years old or over and have held your driving licence for at least 1 year.
ONBOARDING FEE
A £49 one-off onboarding fee applies and will be deducted from your first invoice.
FLEXIBLE WORKING
We have routes available 7 days a week, with opportunities for:
- Full-time drivers
- Part-time drivers
- Owner drivers
- Drivers requiring a van
