The City Gate has asun trap of a courtyard, 20 boutique bedrooms and a private cellar bar full ofcharacter and charm that can be hired for private events, parties and weddings.This business has gone from strength to strength under our previous GM, who ismoving on to new opportunities, and is perfectly positioned for the right person to come in and continue to drive the pub forward.
We’re looking for a people-focused GM that has experiencerunning a pub and is used to working with fresh food to continue to developthis traditional yet quirky community site which is a firm favourite for localsand visitors alike. A great opportunity for someone that runs a great pubto challenge themselves in running a pub with rooms, and is willing to embedthemselves within the Exeter community.
